FAQ

Q. What is your real name?

A. My real name is Henk and I live in the Netherlands.

Q. How old are you?

A. I was born in 1967, so at the time of writing (2017) I am 50 years old.

Q. Aren’t you too old to play video games?

A. I don’t think so. I think playing video games is for all ages.

Q. When did you start playing computer games?

A. I started when I was about 15 years old. This seems late by today’s standards, but remember that (home) computers weren’t around much before that.

Q. What was the first video game you ever played?

A. That is difficult to remember. It was probably something like Monster Maze or Galaxians on the ZX81.

Q. What was your first computer?

A. My first computer was a Sinclair ZX81. Programs were loaded from and save to a compact cassette and the screen was a small black-and-white TV.

Q. Why do you stream games now?

A. I love the interactions with other people while playing games. It’s great if something spectacular happens in a game and share it live with others. Also I love to learn from viewers who have played a game more than I have. Although I still want to discover things for myself!

Q. What computer do you have?

A. At the time of writing (July 2017) I have a three year old HP desktop that I bought second hand. It has an Intel i5 – 4590 in it and 8Gb of RAM. The video card is an ASUS NVIDIA GTX 1050ti.  I recently bought another one of these and stuck in a Elgato HD60 PRO to capture the games and push them to Twitch.

Q. That’s not the latest hardware is it?

A. Nope, it isn’t. But it is all I can afford. Also, I can play the games I want to play now and I will slowly upgrade to more impressive hardware.

Q. Which games do you play now?

A. Currently (November 2017) I play a lot of simulators (Flight Simulator X, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Farming Simulator 17). I think that simulation and open world games (for argument’s sake I include Hitman in there) are going to be the mainstay of my streams.

Q. Will you stream more in future?

A. Yes, as my channel grows, so will my streaming hours increase. In fact as of november 2017 they have increased quite a bit.
